This maintenance release brings 12 fixes and 7 minor new features in JobScheduler and YADE to subscribers of Long Term Support:

  • Support for Universal Agent
    • JS-861: Agent should start a process for a specific Windows account
Running jobs as a different user: The Universal Agent can now switch user accounts on Windows Systems, with authentication information being stored with the Windows Credential Manager. This solution provides a secure and compliant implementation that does not require the main Agent process to be run as root.
  • Support for YADE
    • YADE-430: YADE should support the JSch logging interface
  • Support for Installer
    • SET-101: timeouts added for smtp connection with default 5 seconds

  • JS-1717: JobScheduler gets correct file timestamps after Windows 10 update
  • JS-1720: Exception when executing a powershell job on a Windows machine with default Ansi Code Page=UTF
  • JS-1721: HeartBeat-Watchdog-Thread in a cluster configuration doesn't work if the database server is very slow (takes more than 1 minute to respond)

See the Release Notes for a detailed list of features and bug-fixes.
