After careful consideration we have decided to stop providing JobScheduler set-ups for SPARC Solaris systems. However, we will support commercially licensed customers with SPARC machines who want to make builds on their own hardware.
The background to this decision is that access to suitable hardware is becoming increasingly difficult to guarantee and that the costs of buying or renting our own are prohibitive.
Note that this discontinuation does not apply to Solaris x86: we will continue to provide builds for this platform as before.
In addition, this will affect users of the JADE Background Service, which also uses JobScheduler, but not JADE Command Line Client users.
